Tutorial Wednesday - HO HO Hostess Gift

Hi all!

Well it's officially the holiday season, and that means lots of visiting!  I wanted to share this quick and easy tip for whipping up a hostess gift.  However, you will want to make some extras for you too!
First grab your washi tape and that giant bag of tea lights that you have - I know I am not the only one with a lifetime supply!

Now wrap some washi around some tea lights, the washi come sin several widths so find the one that fits your candles.  There are also so many patterns to go with every decor... it doesn't have to be Christmas-y

You can even wrap the not so pretty battery operated tea lights, they look so much prettier!

Next I put a few in a box and used some Christmas scrappy scraps to decorate the box.   I literally used scraps, in fact the piece wrapped around the box is the advertising label for the paper pack.

Okay, now if I am honest, I must say that when I first thought of this idea I thought of me - but as I was making it I thought it would make a nice hostess gift!

Thanks for visiting!
