#Everyday Mom Life | My Creative Scrapbook

Hey there! It is reveal day over at My Creative Scrapbook, which means I get to share this month's gorgeous kit with you and a layout, too!

Check out this eye candy!! The latest Paige Evans for Pink Paislee collection "Oh My Heart", features heavily in this kit, along with some other fantastic goodies. And let me tell you it arrived just in time for me to delve into Spring, even if it wasn't actually Spring-like outside! So good for the soul!

Although this is my first share of the month for this kit, this page is actually the last layout that I created.

I opted for a clean and airy design for this page, with loads of white (or pink) space.  Hoping for a fresh Spring effect.

I kept my patterns to a minimum, and added pops of colours with embellishments.

The foam Thickers from the kit mixed with a die cut phrase made for a perfect, and easy title.  As you can see, four layouts into the kit, I was low on e's but the alpha set also had numbers so the 3's, positioned backwards worked perfectly as stand ins.

I divided up some of the die cut florals by cutting some of the flowers off, to use them in more than one location around my layout.  I also punched leaves and butterflies from some of the patterns to create a few more embellishments to tuck into my clusters. I created the tag from a piece of patterned paper and added in some crochet thread from my stash.

The ticket stub, was cut off of the end of a die cut, actually I used the other end beside my photo, as well.  It is a good way to stretch your supplies.

The little ampersand die cut, is a stamped element using the fun Heidi Swapp stamp set that was included in the kit, after stamping it I used a circle punch to trim it out. I love that it has a white edge like a store bought die cut would have.

I also used the heart stamp, unfortunately, or fortunately depending on what you are going for, my half inch circle punch was just a hair too small to leave a white rim around this stamp, so I drew one in with a white pen. Along with the die cuts, I tucked in a scrap of white cardstock that has a scalloped punched edge below my photo.  A little stitching along the right edge of my picture and some Ranger Enamel Accents finished off this page nicely.

Supply List: (From the Kit) Pink Paislee Oh My Heart patterned papers {06, 10, 18, 19} and ephemera; Dear Lizzy Lovely chipboard phrase stickers; Thickers Thick and Thin Foam letter stickers; Heidi Swapp Beautiful Stamp Set. (From my stash) misc. white cardstock; Misc. crochet thread; Ranger Enamel Accents; Sharpie; CTMH Juniper ink; Uniball white pen.

Thanks so much for visiting today!
